Progress indeed

Quick note on progress from the new studio - Zoo Station.  A tip of the hat not to the worlds beloved U2 but to the animals at large in Brookfield IL.   Our intentional plan to not work in a overly intentional fashion seems to be paying off.  In recordings past, we tended to bring bits and bites already recorded by one individual to the table as a starting point.  This time out we are writing on the fly as a trio, tracking and moving and spending less time fixated on the granular.  In a month and a half’s time we have  7 - 10 well framed tunes well on their way and all are coming out looser and less deliberate than songs of old.  Refreshing for us and should be for you.

Please say a silent prayer that we can finish these recordings and release them into the wild quickly.  Given too much time we will surely find a way to crush all flatness and sharpness in my vocals, eq out all frequencies above 200 mega hert kilo wattz, and quantatize all beats into tight surgical packages.  Lord give me the strength to leave things messy.
